Welcome to the Regional Community of Radiographers
We would like to provide information about the roles of diagnostic and therapeutic radiographers on this website.
Our community
provide an excellent opportunity for all Medical Radiation Technologists:
- to improve their professional attitude,
- our individual professional career,
- enhance our knowledge and skills,
- clinical research opportunities are available to challenge us and improve our judgment abilities,
- how do we greet difficulties or challenges.
Use the
opportunities to IMPROVE to our peers and our colleague’s health care sector and
to our patients the quality of service and care we offer.
If you are a member of our community, use your membership
number and post code to log in to the dedicated 'Members' area'.
Membership is open to all those working in the areas of clinical imaging, radiotherapy and oncology. We encourage participation at all levels and whether you are a state registered radiographer, helper, assistant practitioner, or work as a support member in the radiographic team you can get involved and benefit from our support and services.
Research opportunities
Members have free access to our library, which is the most
comprehensive collection of archived and current material about
radiography. You can apply for funding for independent clinical
research projects and a number of bursaries are awarded to
members each year.
Special interest groups
Where new disciplines and specialties are evolving, special interest
groups play an important role in sharing ideas and best practice.
